Parts of the forest are protected entirely to protect rare birds, animals and plants.

Where the trees are grown abroad, the FSC protects the rights of indigenous people. If there are any sacred sites in the forest these are exempt from felling. Workers are given proper training, safety equipment and a decent salary, and the forest owner helps the community in other ways, such as providing schooling for local children.

You can be assured that the paper used for your photobook printing is completely traceable. All the wood is tracked from the forest to the store. Every stage identified with a code and certification to make it clearly identifiable. If it doesn’t have these certificates and markings it’s not FSC..
